Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed: September 2026

Our commitment

The Fryer House wants everyone to be able to browse the menu, customize an order, check out, and track delivery, regardless of ability or the technology they use. Accessibility is part of how this site is built, not an afterthought, and we treat barriers as bugs.

The standard we target

The Fryer House aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This is the standard most commonly referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and is the bar we hold the whole ordering flow to.

What we have done

Across the ordering experience we work to:

  • Keep text and interactive controls readable at a 4.5:1 contrast ratio or better.
  • Make every action reachable and operable with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
  • Give buttons, links, and form fields clear names and labels for screen readers.
  • Size tap targets to at least 44 by 44 pixels so they are easy to hit on a phone.
  • Provide text alternatives for meaningful images and icons.
  • Support browser zoom and respect your system text-size and reduced-motion settings.

How we keep it that way

An automated accessibility suite runs against the sign-up flow and the full ordering funnel, which is the menu, item pages, cart, checkout, and the order tracker, on every change. It blocks any new serious or critical issue from shipping. Automated checks cannot catch everything, so we also review by hand and rely on reports from people who use the site.

Known limitations

We are honest about where we fall short. A small number of decorative brand elements are still being reviewed against the 4.5:1 target, and we are working through them.

Some restaurant home pages open with a background video or a rotating set of photos that starts on its own and repeats. There is no on-screen pause button for it. If you turn on your device’s “reduce motion” setting, we detect that and hold the image still instead, and no part of ordering depends on that motion: every menu, price, and button works the same with it stopped.

If you hit something that blocks you, please tell us using the contact below and we will prioritize a fix.

Report a barrier

If any part of the site is hard to use, or you cannot complete an order, we want to hear about it. Email support@zayrev.com and, if you can, tell us the page you were on, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser, or assistive technology you use. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 5 business days.
